TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These general terms and conditions apply to all ticket purchases, registrations, admission tickets, events, activities, online platforms, competitions, promotional activities, and services organized by Better Together and/or its affiliated companies, partners, and executing organizations.

ARTICLE 1 – DEFINITIONS


In these terms and conditions, the following terms shall have the following meanings:

Organizers
Better Together, its affiliated companies, brands, productions, festivals, events, employees, freelancers, contractors, partners, and designated representatives.

Event
Any festival day, party, concert, gathering, activity, workshop, campsite, fringe activity, livestream, or other experience organized by Better Together.

Visitor
Any natural person who purchases, receives, uses a ticket, or wishes to gain access to an event.


Ticket
Any valid title of admission in physical, digital, or other form.


Platform
Any website, ticket shop, mobile application, social media page, or external ticketing platform used by the Organizer.

 

Content
All photo, video, audio, livestream, drone, security, atmospheric, and other recordings made during or in connection with the event.

ARTICLE 2 – APPLICABILITY


By purchasing, reserving, or using a ticket, the Visitor agrees to:
these general terms and conditions;
the privacy policy of Better Together;
any house rules of the venue;
the terms and conditions of external ticketing partners;
safety guidelines and instructions from staff, security, and emergency services.
If provisions conflict, these terms and conditions shall prevail, subject to mandatory statutory law.
The Organizer reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The most recent version can always be consulted via the official channels of Better Together.

ARTICLE 3 – TICKETS AND ACCESS


An agreement is only definitively concluded after full and correct payment has been received.
The Organizer reserves the right to:
refuse ticket orders;
cancel tickets;
impose purchase limits;
declare tickets invalid in the event of fraud, abuse, or unauthorized resale;
require the personalization of tickets.
Tickets may not be resold commercially without the prior written consent of the Organizer.
The Organizer may conduct identity checks. If identification is refused, access may be denied.
Access may also be denied in the case of:
aggressive behavior;
inappropriate/transgressive behavior;
intoxication;
possession of prohibited items;
threat to safety or public order;
violation of these terms and conditions;
fraud or suspected fraud.
In such cases, there is no right to a refund.

ARTICLE 4 – CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS, AND FORCE MAJEURE


The Organizer reserves the right to:

  • change line-ups;

  • replace artists;

  • adjust timetables;

  • adjust opening and/or closing hours;

  • close zones;

  • cancel program components;

  • reschedule the event;

  • adjust safety measures.

Such changes do not automatically entitle the Visitor to a refund, compensation, or damages.


Changes to:

  • line-up;

  • timetable;

  • duration of performances;

  • duration of the event;

  • order of artists;

  • stage design;

  • campsite facilities;

  • fringe entertainment;

  • food & beverage offering;

  • VIP formulas;

  • activations;

  • sponsors;

  • zones or infrastructure;

are considered normal organizational adjustments inherent to festivals and events.
The purchase of a ticket grants access to the event as a whole, not to a specific artist, act, performance, or part of the program.


The Organizer makes reasonable efforts to execute the announced program but gives no guarantee regarding specific artists, performances, schedules, or festival experiences.
Force majeure includes, among other things:

  • extreme weather conditions;

  • pandemics;

  • strikes;

  • terrorist threats;

  • government measures;

  • technical failures;

  • power outages;

  • cyberattacks;

  • security threats;

  • illness of artists;

  • logistical problems;

  • all circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Organizer.

In the event of force majeure, the event may be fully or partially canceled, postponed, interrupted, adjusted, or terminated early without liability on the part of the Organizer.


Interruptions, temporary evacuations, partial zone closures, weather-related adjustments, technical problems, or safety measures do not automatically entitle the Visitor to a full or partial refund.
In the event of cancellation, the Organizer reserves the right to:

  • set a new date;

  • offer a voucher or credit note;

  • work out an alternative compensation scheme;

  • grant a partial refund;

  • withhold service, administration, and transaction fees to the extent permitted by law.

  • The Organizer is not liable for additional costs or indirect damages, including:

  • hotel costs;

  • transportation costs;

  • parking costs;

  • flight costs;

  • campsite costs;

  • consumptions;

  • lost income;

  • emotional damage;

  • missed experiences.

If a refund is granted, it shall in all cases remain limited to a maximum of the nominal ticket value, subject to mandatory statutory law. Refunds are made exclusively through the official sales channel and only to the original purchaser.

ARTICLE 5 – PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA


The Organizer processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

 

By purchasing a ticket or attending an event, the Visitor agrees that personal data may be processed for, among other things:

  • ticket processing;

  • customer service;

  • access control;

  • safety and fraud prevention;

  • audience analysis;

  • community management;

  • marketing and promotion of similar events;

  • remarketing;

  • statistical analysis;

  • commercial optimization;

  • sponsor reporting in anonymized or aggregated form.

The Organizer may use external processors, advertising platforms, CRM systems, analytics tools, and marketing services.


Personal data may be processed through platforms including:

  • Meta;

  • TikTok;

  • Google;

  • mailing platforms;

  • advertising and analytics tools;

  • ticketing partners.

 

The Visitor may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe options provided for that purpose.

ARTICLE 6 – PHOTO, VIDEO, AND SOUND RECORDINGS


During the event, recordings of visitors, the audience, artists, atmospheric shots, and general festival activities may be made by or on behalf of the Organizer.


By entering the event, the Visitor acknowledges and accepts that:
they may appear recognizably in footage;
these recordings may be used worldwide and for an unlimited duration;
this use may be both commercial and non-commercial;
the recordings may be used for promotion, advertisements, social media, aftermovies, livestreams, print materials, artwork, sponsor campaigns, documentaries, press purposes, archiving, and future promotional purposes;
the recordings may be edited, mounted, adapted, combined, or reused;
the Organizer may grant sublicenses to partners, sponsors, media partners, and affiliated companies;
no compensation is due for this.


The Organizer will always strive for a reasonable and proportionate use of images.
Visitors who believe they have well-founded privacy objections can contact the Organizer via the official contact address of Better Together.

 

Professional cameras, drones, or recording equipment may be prohibited without prior written consent.

ARTICLE 7 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY


All intellectual property rights relating to:

  • branding;

  • visuals;

  • logos;

  • artwork;

  • aftermovies;

  • livestreams;

  • photos;

  • videos;

  • websites;

  • campaigns;

  • content;

  • designs;

  • social media content;

  • audiovisual material;

remain the exclusive property of the Organizer or its licensors.
It is forbidden to commercially reproduce, distribute, or exploit material belonging to Better Together without prior written consent.

ARTICLE 8 – CODE OF CONDUCT AND SAFETY


The Visitor undertakes to:

  • follow instructions from staff and security;

  • not perform dangerous, discriminatory, inappropriate/transgressive, or disruptive actions;

  • not bring or use illegal substances;

  • not damage third-party property.

The Organizer may conduct safety checks, including body searches within the limits of the law.
The Organizer reserves the right to remove visitors from the premises without a refund.

ARTICLE 9 – LIABILITY AND LIMITATION OF DAMAGES


Entry to the event premises is entirely at the Visitor's own risk.
The Organizer is only liable in cases of proven intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
The Organizer is not liable for:

  • indirect damages;

  • consequential damages;

  • loss of income;

  • loss or theft of belongings;

  • damage caused by third parties;

  • technical failures;

  • weather conditions;

  • changes in line-up or timing;

  • damage caused by visitors;

  • force majeure situations.

The total liability of the Organizer shall in all cases remain limited to the amount of the purchased ticket, subject to mandatory statutory law.


The Organizer offers no guarantee regarding:

  • weather conditions;

  • waiting times;

  • visibility;

  • sound quality;

  • capacity of zones;

  • availability of artists;

  • accessibility;

  • mobile networks;

  • sanitary facilities;

  • comfort level;

  • individual festival experience.

Every visitor acknowledges that festivals and events constitute a dynamic and partially unpredictable environment where organizational changes, safety measures, and operational adjustments may be necessary.
Any claim for damages must be reported in writing and with justification to the Organizer no later than seven (7) calendar days after the event.

ARTICLE 10 – DRUGS, ALCOHOL, AND PROHIBITED ITEMS


The possession, use, or distribution of illegal substances is prohibited.
The Organizer reserves the right to:

  • confiscate prohibited items;

  • refuse access;

  • remove visitors;

  • contact the police or competent authorities.

ARTICLE 11 – CASHLESS AND PAYMENTS


If the event uses cashless systems, wallets, or digital payment methods:

  • additional terms and conditions may apply;

  • processing times may apply;

  • administrative fees may be charged where legally permitted.

The Organizer is not liable for disruptions beyond its reasonable control.

ARTICLE 12 – SPONSORS, PARTNERS, AND THIRD PARTIES


Certain zones, activations, competitions, or services may be managed by external partners or sponsors.
The Organizer is not liable for services or products provided by third parties, unless otherwise provided by law.

ARTICLE 13 – APPLICABLE LAW


These terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Belgian law.
Disputes fall exclusively under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the judicial district of Antwerp, subject to mandatory statutory law.
